TOSHI AI / LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy covers Toshi: Glitch Climb (also known as TOSHI AI), including its Android and iOS builds and launch website. The game is an offline-first, single-player arcade game. Store availability may differ by platform.

1. Scope and purpose
TOSHI AI is provided solely for entertainment. It has no multiplayer mode, player-to-player communication, chat, public profiles, or user-generated content.
2. Accounts and launch waitlist
The game has no registration, login, usernames, passwords, social login, or player profiles. If you voluntarily join the launch waitlist at game.toshiai.app, we collect only the email address you submit so we can notify you when the game launches. Joining the waitlist does not create a game account.
3. Local gameplay data
The game may store the following information locally on your device:
- Best score and current progress
- Coins, if this feature is implemented
- Game and control settings
- Audio settings
Game progress is stored locally; there is no developer-operated player database or cloud-save service. You can delete local data by clearing app storage where supported or deleting the app. On iOS, offloading the app may retain its data.
4. Device permissions
The game uses platform capabilities needed to run and load online advertising. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs, calendar, precise location, Bluetooth, or NFC access. The iOS build does not request App Tracking Transparency permission to access IDFA.
5. Advertising and Google services
Android and iOS builds use Google AdMob for interstitial ads and optional rewarded videos. On iOS, a completed rewarded video grants one checkpoint continuation, which can be repeated after later deaths when a new video is available. No banner ads are configured. The iOS build uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and store privacy choices where required; ad requests are gated by the SDK's consent status. On iOS, the hand icon in the main menu or Game Over opens Privacy, with a link to this Policy and Ad Privacy Choices when required by UMP. Refusing consent does not block core gameplay, but ads and rewarded continuations may be unavailable. The iOS build requests non-personalized ads and disables Google's publisher first-party ID. Google Play Services may be present on Android. Google services operate under Google's privacy practices.
6. Technical data processed by Google
According to Google's disclosure for the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the SDK may automatically collect and share these categories for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
- App launches, taps, ad views, and other product interactions
- Diagnostics such as performance, launch time, hangs, and energy usage
- Advertising and other technical identifiers, depending on platform, SDK settings and permissions; IDFA is not available to this iOS build without Apple's tracking permission
The exact data processed depends on the SDK version, device settings, region, consent choices, and app configuration. The developer does not intentionally attach this technical data to a name, email address, or player profile.
7. Internet connection and cookies
Core gameplay works offline. AdMob and UMP connect to Google when online, and Android may also use Google Play Services. UMP stores privacy choices on the device. Advertising SDKs may use local storage and identifiers under their own policies. The launch website stores your language preference locally and transmits your email only when you submit the waitlist form; it does not use advertising cookies.
8. Data sharing and sale
The developer does not sell personal information and does not upload local scores, coins, settings, or progress to a developer-controlled database. A waitlist email is processed by the website host and delivered to the developer's mailbox. Technical game data may be processed by Google through the SDKs described above.
9. Retention and deletion
Local gameplay data remains on the device until you clear app storage or uninstall the game. Waitlist emails are kept until the launch notice is sent or until you ask us to remove your address by emailing info@toshiai.app. Google determines retention for information processed by its services.
10. Children's privacy
TOSHI AI is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a service connected to the game, contact us so the issue can be reviewed with the relevant provider.
11. Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect game data and keep dependencies current. Local data is also subject to the security of your device. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Planned features
Google Play Games leaderboards, optional cloud save, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and optional notifications may be introduced later. They are not part of the current data practices unless activated. This Policy will be updated before a new feature materially changes how information is handled.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the game, SDKs, store requirements, or applicable rules change. The new effective date will be posted on this page.
14. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact the TOSHI AI developer at info@toshiai.app.
